Spend
a week learning about different styles of puppetry. Puppet
Campers will learn how to make and perform a variety of puppets,
how to adapt stories into puppet shows, and how to add music
and sound effects to their shows.

The
afternoon session of Puppet Camp will focus on the ancient
art of Shadow Puppetry. Campers will learn how to create shadow
puppets, adapt stories into shadow puppet plays, and build
their own shadow puppet stage. |

BIRTHDAY
PARTIES
We
have three options for birthday parties.
Option
#1 $225 (for children under 6) Limited to 20 children
Come to the Paul Mesner Puppet Studio for a two hour birthday party
that includes one 30 minute show, Old Mac Donald's Rhyming Ranch
and simple paper puppet making craft. Have your cake and ice cream
in our kitchen around our large table that seats 20 children. The
birthday person gets to sit on the throne with his or her name on
the back of the throne. You provide the refreshments, we provide
the place and cups, plates and silverware.
Option #2 $225 For children 6 and older for up
to 20 children
Attend a two-hour sock making puppet workshop that includes a lecture
demonstration about puppetry, the different kinds of puppets and
the history of puppetry. The children will make a sock puppet, learn
how to make it work and do a short play with their puppets. After
that they can have their cake and ice cream (which you provide)
in our birthday party room with the birthday person sitting in the
throne. We also have different type of puppets here with which they
can play.

Sock Puppet Making Workshop
Attention

This workshop is perfect for school groups and scouts who need to
complete a badge in puppetry.
$225 for up to 20 children, $250 for up to 30 children, $275 for
up to 40 children
For children 6 years of age and older
